The goal in Internet or Affiliate Marketing is to get as much targeted traffic to your website. Targeted traffic, meaning people who are in the ‘buying mode’ and have their credit card by their keyboard and are looking for the product you are offering on your website. Whether it be a tennis racket, a new handbag, a iPhone 4G, or someone who wants six pack abs, you want targeted customers over customers who are browsers.

In this video, I go through using free high ranking website resources, creating a Squidoo.com Lense, Tweet each post using Tweeter.com and create and load up videos on your YouTube.com Channel to drive targeted Internet traffic to your site.

Another informative Internet Marketing video tutorial in the series to help Internet and Affiliate Marketers research your own and your competitor’s website and landing pages. Easy to install and free to use, the Web Developer Toolbar should be a part of every Affiliate Marketer’s toolbox.

Spying on your competitors in a ‘nice way’ is called ‘Doing Research’. Don’t worry, your competitors are probably using tools such as the Web Developer Toolbar on Firefox to examine your website pages to find out how and what you are marketing.

Furthermore, why wouldn’t you do it? Competitor research in the days prior to the Internet was expensive, time consuming and often not accurate. Welcome, the age of the Internet where you can go to your competitor’s website and extract all the information you need for a competitive analysis, quickly, accurately and often, for free.
